Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Every AI feature is included in a one-time starter allowance of up to 10 recordings within 2 AI processing hours. Paid plans replenish and raise the allowances each month.
What’s the difference between Free, Pro, and Unlimited?
Free includes 10 starter recordings within 2 AI hours. Pro is $9.99/mo with 30 recordings within 10 AI hours each month. Unlimited is $19.99/mo with unlimited files within 20 AI hours each month. Zero-retention Ultra Privacy is included on every plan and uses the same plan allowance.
How do I pay?
Subscribe on the web through Stripe, in the Android app through Google Play, or in the iPhone app through Apple. Recard never stores your card details, and your plan follows your Recard account across devices.
What is Ultra-Privacy Mode?
Ultra Privacy temporarily sends the recording through Recard’s backend and Google Cloud Vertex AI for the normal transcript and analysis. The complete result returns to the phone, then Recard deletes and verifies deletion of its temporary cloud recording content. It is zero-retention application processing, not on-device AI. A separate switch, off by default, can send the minimum local context transiently for Ask and Voice without syncing or indexing the private recording; normal Ask and Voice allowances apply.
Is there an iOS app?
Yes. Recard is available for iPhone on the App Store, alongside Android and the web app. Your Recard account and plan follow you across devices.
What happens if I cancel a paid plan?
You drop back to the Free plan and keep every feature. Your existing recordings and notes stay put, you just return to the Free volume limits going forward.
